“We stayed here for 2 nights after arriving at Miami airport from the UK at the start of our vacation. While staying here we visited the Everglades NP for a day before moving on the Keys. I thought this was a good hotel. It is very new, so everything is in good condition. The rooms were comfortable and fairly spacious with good beds. The hotel is set back from the main highway which means you need to be sharp-eyed not to miss it, but also means that the area is a little quieter and more pleasant. Kendall generally seemed a nice, safe residential area - with plenty of good places to eat in the nearby little malls. The free breakfast buffet was perhaps a bit limited, but nice all the same - served in a large room overlooking the pool. All the staff that we spoke to were friendly, efficient and very professional. The location is convenient for visiting the Everglades, as it isn't far from the Florida Turnpike - so this all worked out well.” April 2008
“What a pleasant surprise! Sure, it's a brand new hotel and I expect it to be nice and clean. But even with that in mind i'm so impressed with the newer Holiday Inn Express properties. They really have that "boutique" feel about them with clean, crisp, white linens, pillowtop mattresses, marble countertops, etc. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive. The location was convenient to those flying into the Kendall / Tamiami airport -- just 30 seconds away. Only 2 or 3 miles to every restaurant imaginable.
